K Finally to Portland

So here's the scoop- Tyson got accepted to medical school and so right before Christmas we moved away to Portland, OR. We were so excited to be on a new adventure-have our own place

It could only get better from here Right?? Well this is where it gets fun- we were promised our home to be available the 1st of Dec., then the 15Th then it got pushed back to the 22ND OF DECEMBER!! That's Right!- After spending five nights in a hotel with our two year old(shoot me in the face) We finally got it the 23rd!! So after a long 2+ years of wanting our own place, we finally got it(we lived with my parents why Ty was going through school). So here is Ty "pretending" to clean-I am not in any of the pics cause I'm so busy cleaning:)

But we are so blessed to have a home!!!

With Dad just barely into his first week of recovery from his knee surgery my mom had a little injury of her own that happened at church. When Sunday School was over she got up to talk to some one and her one leg had completely fallen asleep and when she went to put her weight on her leg it gave out and she went down. She had sprained her ankle pretty good and even managed to hurt her other ankle and leg as well. Luckily people from the ward were there to help her out and brought her home. My mom was not able to walk at all and of course my dad with his surgery could not do very much as well. Like I said Charlie and Teresa are down for the count. Luckily they had two walkers available and one that my mother could sit on so I could push her around the house. It was an end to what had been a interesting three days for my mother. We were glad that others were there to help and that we were able to be there to help them both to recovery. My mother enjoying the ride on the walker.

We went out with our best friends Bryan and Stephanie Gerber to Mastro's City Hall and it was truly a fun experience. All of the food was fresh and at very high quality. The steaks were juicy and melted in your mouth and kept a smile on Tyson's face on every bite he took. We were truly grateful to be able to go with them. The happy couple!

Buck's Surgery

Buck had a knee joint replacment surgery done and we went to go visit him while he was in recovery. We are excited for him to be able to get back to moving around and enjoying the things he loves to do. Grandma holding Ava.

Great Grandma Markham hand made a beautiful blanket for our little miss Ava! We Love Polka Dots!!!

For her first Easter we first went over to Great Grandma Adair's for the annual Easter breakfast and Easter egg hunt. This year Great Grandma threw in doing pinewood derby car racing and for everyone to make new ones or bring ones they have had in the past. There were a bunch of close races and some wheels that had fallen off, but alot of fun was had by all. Jared did have a very creative car that was named the Smore Mobile. We wish we would have gotten a picture of it. We had our egg hunt for the young kids and adults and for each egg group there is always candy and a little bit of money that is put into a few eggs. We then went over for the Markham Easter where they had some very good food as usual and an egg hunt as well. We were able to show Ava off to some of the aunts and uncles who have not seen Ava yet. We hung out and talked to everyone and had a good visit.

Grandpa Tom is so excited to greet lil miss AVA!! This was the night before she came!! Its all babY!!!

I'm a happy camper!! I received an epidural and life was great!!!!

I thought labor was going to be a breeze!!! boy, was i wrong!!

Here is mom and dad (that sounds funny) just waiting for her arrival (i still had a smile on my face)

AND THEN... IT ALL CAME CRASHING DOWN!!!! My epidural wore off when i dilated to 8cm!

It was then and there i had changed my mind!! I didn't want to push this kid out!! I felt as if I was on a roller coaster ride and it was too late to get off!!! Good thing Tyson was right there (he's my hero) AND After 30 mins of pushing...
